Sharon’s son, Andrew drove down from his home in Bradenton, FL last evening. He’ll be here for two or three days.

Andrew and I just went to visit Sharon for a few minutes. She had just finished eating her lunch when we got there. I noticed that her heart rate was still a bit high and that they still have her on one IV medication. I assume that’s for her heart rate.

She was more talkative today, but she wasn’t able to get a whole sentence out. Most of what she tried to say was random words that made no sense.

Sharon seemed like her mood was a little better and she smiled a few times. Before we left, she reached out her left hand and placed on on my cheek, letting me know she wanted a kiss.

I asked her if it would be okay for friends to visit her. She shook her head and said, “No.”

Several people have asked about visiting. I’m asking everyone to hold off for now. She should be transferred to Lee Memorial very soon. I’ll find out what their visitation policies are there and keep you all updated. I’m pretty sure it will be good for her to have visitors there.

  1. Thanks, Bob for updating us. Even though we must wait a while until Sharon is ready for visitors, please greet her for us and give her our love. We continue in prayer for you both.
