I was able to visit with Sharon today. She’s in the Rehab Hospital (Medical Office Building) at Lee Memorial, room 645.
She’s getting a little movement with her right arm, hand and fingers, but not much. This will get better! (Good thing, as she is right-handed.)
One of the nurses told her that she would be able to get in the shower tomorrow.
She will be having 4 sessions each day including physical therapy and speech therapy. She is still having a hard time putting a whole sentence together, but today she did say, “Oh my God, where’s…” I said, “Your Carmex?” She said, “Yeah!” I told her that I would get some more Carmex and bring it to her.
A little while later, just after they brought in her lunch tray, she looked and me and said, “Sweetheart, I love you.” Then she said, “I love you every day.” And then, “I love you all the time.”
How cool is that?
